Terms and Conditions

The adherence to following terms and conditions ensure that your holiday will be safe and enjoyable.

1. This is essentially an activity holiday, therefore ALL members of the party must carry Personal Accident Insurance.

We ourselves, carry the necessary Public Liability Insurance, however you should be satisfied that your standard holiday insurance gives you adequate personal accident cover for all activities.

2. No smoking in the house

3. No candles in bedrooms

4. No drinks (other than water) in bedrooms

5. House to be secured (doors/windows/shutters closed) before leaving premises

6. Parental control of minors at all times

7. Pool entrances to be kept clear to allow gates to automatically shut (legal EEC regulation)

8. No glasses or sharp objects within pool enclosure. Plastic glasses are available for use around the pool

9. Jumping, diving or bombing from balcony into pool is FORBIDDEN

10. Children to be supervised in and around pool and in the sports complex by adults at all times

11. All sporting and keep fit equipment is subject to annual inspection and maintenance. However guests are reminded that this equipment is used at their own risk.

12. Hi fi equipment is to remain in the chateau and not taken outside

13. Gas bottles to be turned off after use (Bar-B-Q)

14. France has a strict policy of recycling. Therefore we ask you to place household waste in appropriate receptacles (which are clearly marked)

i.e. baskets for bottles and glasses, dustbins for paper and plastic another for waste food. These will be emptied for you on a regular basis.

Your security deposit:

A security deposit of 1200 euros (or equivalent sterling) is to be provided in cash on arrival which will be refunded on morning of departure less;

a) replacement value of damaged or broken items
b) value of wine consumed (if any) from the Cellar Wine Bar

Electricity:

It would be appreciated if you would switch off electrical appliances and lights in rooms that are not in use. It is not difficult to overload the supply to the chateau.

NB The pool lights are not designed to be left permanently on. Recommended maximum daily use 3 hours.

Emergencies:

A list of numbers for the emergency services (doctors, police, ambulance, fire brigade) is displayed in the kitchen but in the first instance contact the owners in the apartment behind the sports complex.

Fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are situated on each floor of the chateau.

Privacy

It is essential that the cleaning and maintenance of the pool, together with the watering of floral displays, is carried out on a daily basis. However we are anxious that your privacy is not compromised and therefore these will be carried out a time agreeable to gues
